Rescon advanced approximately 750 soil borings and collected over 800 soil samples to characterize and define the extents of the various thresholds of PCB and POL contaminated soil across 6 distinct source areas. The project team excavated and transported offsite for disposal up to 600 tons of TSCA/non-TSCA regulated material as well as several hundred tons of less impacted soil that were transported to an onsite monofil. Additionally, the field team stabilized (using a metals binding agent) approximately 550 tons of lead contaminated soil at former small arms firing ranges, preventing the need for having to haul the soil offsite to a disposal facility.
