Nathan (Nate) Oberlee
Environmental Engineer - Rescon Principal
Nate has over 20 years of experience as Project Manager / Engineer on USACE, USAF, USEPA, FAA, BLM and private contracts across Alaska. Nate has significant experience performing emergency response support to both government and private clients for spills and natural disaster relief. His experience includes logistics planning, environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, remedial investigations, emergency response, waste management and remedial system design/construction. Nate founded Rescon nearly a decade ago to make real a vision of creating a workplace where good people work together to provide high quality service to their clients, and have fun doing it. Nate loves to recharge by escaping with his family to a cabin the woods..

Zack Kirk
Senior Environmental Scientist - Rescon Principal
Zack is a Senior Environmental Scientist providing project management and technical support for Rescon efforts from the North Slope of Alaska to the Pacific Northwest. Zack has over 10 years of experience conducting fieldwork and remediation efforts on DOD and industrial sites in remote locations from Adak to Barrow. His diverse expertise includes Environmental Site Assessments, risk assessments, feasibility studies, impaired water body assessments, fishery baseline assessments, vapor intrusion mitigation, storm and wastewater discharge permitting, ERPIMS data submissions and monitoring wastewater treatment programs. Zack enjoys driving vehicles of questionable reliability and off the grid adventures with his family.

Elliot Wilson
Construction Manager - Rescon Principal
Elliot is a Principal at Rescon Alaska with decades of experience as a driller, heavy equipment operator, site manager, and project manager working in some of Alaska’s most remote and logistically challenging environments. He has led complex field programs supporting environmental remediation, drilling, infrastructure, and scientific projects for federal, state, and private clients across the state. With extensive expertise in Alaska logistics, Elliot specializes in coordinating transportation, permitting, and field operations in rugged northern conditions where adaptability and practical problem-solving are essential. His leadership reflects a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach grounded in real-world field experience, operational expertise, and Rescon Alaska’s core values of Relentless Ownership, Creative Problem Solving, and Northern Grit.

Jeremy Miner
Senior Project Manager
Jeremy is a Project Manager specializing in complex field operations, remote logistics, environmental remediation, and geophysical research. He manages projects from proposal through completion, providing field leadership, logistics coordination, technical oversight, and health & safety compliance for environmental, geologic, geophysical, and remote construction projects. Jeremy has supported clients including DOD, NPS, BLM, FAA, NSF, Alaska Native Corporations, and oil & gas operators. Jeremy is has delivered practical, field-driven solutions that keep projects moving safely and efficiently from Alaska, North America, Greenland, Iceland, and Antarctica. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and trying to keep up with his wife and sons.

Rob Juhlin
Operations Manager
Robert is the Operations Manager at Rescon, overseeing heavy equipment operations, civil construction activities, and thermal remediation projects across Alaska. With more than 10 years of experience in the environmental sector, Robert leads complex field operations in remote and demanding environments, supporting safe and efficient project execution throughout Alaska and the Pacific Rim. His background includes environmental remediation, hazardous waste operations, construction support, equipment management, and thermal remediation, with a strong focus on problem-solving and operational accountability in challenging field conditions. Robert maintains numerous industry certifications reflecting Rescon’s commitment to safety, resilience, and operational excellence.

Joe Thomas, PMP
Senior Project Manager
Joe is an environmental consultant with more than 20 years of experience specializing in contaminated site investigation and remediation for commercial and government clients, including the FAA, Department of Defense, NOAA, BLM, and USFWS. He has served in key leadership and technical support roles for major federal environmental cleanup programs, including the FAA Western Service Area Environmental Cleanup Program and the U.S. Air Force BRAC program. Joe’s expertise includes both legacy contaminants—such as petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated compounds, PCBs, pesticides, metals, and dioxins/furans—and emerging contaminants including PFAS. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and traveling with his wife and two children.

Kelly Carson
Data Quality Specialist
Kelly is a Data Quality Specialist and Qualified Environmental Professional at Rescon Alaska with more than 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, specializing in chemical data quality management, QA/QC program development, and hazardous materials sampling and analysis. She has extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, including RCRA, CERCLA, NPDES, CWA, and ADEC requirements, and has supported complex investigations, remediation projects, and long-term monitoring programs across Alaska and the Lower 48. Kelly is highly experienced in data validation, ERPIMS management, laboratory coordination, and UFP-QAPP development, helping ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance on technically demanding and remote projects. When not working Kelly can be found on local trails with her sons and her dogs.
Nathan (Bo) Bosch
Environmental Scientist - QEP
Nathan has spent the past decade performing environmental work all across Alaska. He has worked for clients ranging from small Alaskan Villages, to major mining and petroleum corporations, and the Federal Government for USACE, AFCEC, FAA and more. He loves the variety of work he gets to do for Rescon, and enjoys the healthy balance of computer time in the office and traveling to far reaches of the state in small aircraft. Nathan's expertise includes site assessments, site, characterization, analytical sampling, site remediation, and long-term monitoring, He enjoys spending his free time camping or skiing with his family and riding his bike in cold temperatures.

Brynne Leety
Environmental Technician & Qualified Sampler
Brynne is a lifelong Alaskan committed to the preservation of the state's unique natural environment. As a Environmental Field Technician at Rescon, she supports a range of environmental remediation and compliance projects across Alaska. Her responsibilities include field sampling, site documentation, data collection, reporting, and assisting with the coordination of project logistics to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient project execution. ​When Brynne is not in the field, she enjoys exploring remote landscapes, painting Alaskan scenery, reading, and spending time with family friends, and her pets.

Cherise Garcia
Administrative Assistant
As Rescon's Administrative Assistant Cherise plays a key role in supporting employees and helping daily operations run smoothly. Known for her positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic, she brings organization, reliability, and a team-focused approach to every aspect of her work. Outside the office, Cherise has a passion for music and enjoys attending live shows.

Grant Daavettila
Associate Engineer - QEP
Grant is an Associate Engineer (B.S. Chemical Engineering) and Qualified Environmental Professional at Rescon Alaska with experience in environmental engineering, project management, and field operations in remote and demanding Alaska environments. He has supported federal and private sector projects involving contaminated site remediation, environmental monitoring, spill response, and containment system construction, while also contributing expertise in corrosion and process engineering focused on safety and operational efficiency. Known for his creativity and resilience, Grant thrives in challenging field conditions and consistently delivers practical solutions for complex projects across remote Alaska.

Zach Jones
Environmental Geologist - QEP
Zach is an environmental scientist focused on responsible natural resource stewardship and environmental restoration. With a background in environmental science, carpentry, and agriculture, he brings a practical and versatile approach to projects involving spill response, remedial excavations, subsurface investigations, and groundwater and surface water monitoring for private and government clients. Zach is known for his grit, adaptability, and ability to thrive in remote Alaska environments, where he supports successful project execution through strong communication, coordination, and field leadership. Outside of work, he enjoys jiu jitsu, farming, designing outdoor gear, and exploring Alaska’s backcountry by foot, ski, and kayak.

Shelly Leety
Office Manager & Accounting
Shelly has over 15 years of administrative experience specifically in the environmental industry. She does everything from managing day to day business operations to tech editing reports. Shelly enjoys traveling and spending time with family on Prince William Sound chasing fish.
