In 2015, Rescon performed a Vapor Intrusion investigation at a former dry cleaners business in Arlington, Washington to assess the contaminant impacts following years of extensive historical releases of dry cleaning solvents on the property. Rescon conducted the investigation employing a multiple lines of evidence based approach that provided the client with a thorough and comprehensive assessment of the degree and extent of the contaminant concerns for the property.

To support the client's redevelopment goals, Rescon designed a dual-phased remedial solution consisting of a sub-grade depressurization and soil vapor extraction system that enabled continued use of the building without risk of exposure while also effecting large-scale contaminant reduction with minimal disturbances to the property.
