Rescon Alaska conducted a Phase II ESA to delineate areas of contamination in the subsurface soil of the areas that are to be excavated for construction efforts at the Terminal 1. Data from the site investigation

was used to develop a Contaminated Soils Management Plan to remove contaminated soils from the construction area, thereby reducing the amount of soil screening and project delays associated with environmental removal efforts. Additional project support included environmental oversight for utility trenching and other groundbreaking activities associated with ongoing modernization and upgrades at the Port of Alaska.
